I kept thinking during the paper flying in the air that it reminded me so much of the tutorial in FX course and was wondering if this was one of the animators in it. Splendid work and I just liked pointing out every bit of each lesson.

First of, the splash was superb and had that nice fluent, transparent hue that was well done. Of course the flying paper was very dynamic and kept a good floating factor as it moved across the sky. The waving action as it was caught on the branch was well done as well. You kept the paper perfectly at the same length and proportion, though I felt like the back side of it moved a bit, but that's me nitpicking for examining the overall effect.

The composition was nice with the lighting and stuff. I really liked how you had him sort of disturb the lighting coming through the tress. It bent perfectly, but maybe there could of been some kind of shadow that I know would of been brief, but once again nitpicking.

Overall the lighting, animation and effects were stunning. Very good work and truly can tell that you put a lot of work into this project and can't wait to see what more the effects course can do for you.

Thank you very much for the feedback. It's true that some of the animation elements could have been better if I hadn't rushed it too quickly. However, I haven't done any FX course since I'm simply an amateur. The paper was animated from my imagination and not really that hard if you try it, though I can't say the same with the splash. The style, the flow and the splash FX of this were learned from Adam Phillips (chluaid on Newgrounds), an ex-Disney animator who also holds an online FX course at his website. Go check it out, it's really amazing. Again, thanks for your words.

Must be delicious yogurt :p

Who couldn't resist the charms of the one and only Fernado? His well sexual power is indeed an mortifying stunning, hypnotic beast of it's own nature. Proven here a Demongoat is easily taken over by his appearance.

Dear lord your work is just spot on with it's hypnotic work and my god a goat flying rainbow? Reference to a certain meme? I really look forward to more of the Manwhore's adventures and of course is over powering hypnotic appearance that entices strongest of women. Hopefully thy sexual-Lobster shall grace is with more phenomenal work so heres 10/10 and 5/5 because your professional taste is both taunting and inspirational and I hope to some day get a taste of your every so powerful skils peace.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks!

actually, fernando had a rainbow goat back in april in quest of the manwhore, and i hadn't seen nyan cat at that point, if it existed, so no i wasn't referring to it.

The kind of vision I like to see

this animation was unique and quite different than the others on this site....actually it reminded me of the dream sequence Bobert-Rob did in hi sibblings series(minus that retro odd trans view). The fact you envisioned reality as a chalky state and dream state as more solid was quite phenomenal.

With making the reality of life chalky, it proves that everything we do defines how edgy we are to everyone and gives that false odd look to others. the inbetween part of dream state(as you noted below), kind of proves that with in our creative minds is more of solid vision of what we see, seeing as we are more intune with what we want to see. Also the fact, you demonstrated as nice scare that is common when having a nightmare/nightscare.

Frankly this style is nice and it would be nice to see more of this sketchy to dream state more along with further travel into the dream. 5/5 and 10/10

Spillkaidah responds:

yea, the thing i love about dreams is how everything is related to your own mind... because it's all coming from your own mind. hopes, aspirations, fears, fetishes-- our minds lay them out before us and really help us grow as individuals. This animation was a manifestation of my whimsical what-if thought: is there a consciousness to our dreamplots? who is inside of us? I depicted it here with the character Nap (to all who read this, Nap is the main character's name). Thanks for the review! A book you might like is "The Mind at Night" by Andrea Rock.

fantastic

very awesome, compelling and all around well done animation. the subtle 3d was intriguing and the story had nice start, hope to see more.

Katokun responds:

you'll see moar, believe me :)

Yup...pretty much sums up retail

Those last minute shoppers expect the Low low prices to be available to purchase at not only the last day of the sale, but also don't read the fine print that specify that the 89 cent sale isn't on the Big composition book, but the small one and end up arguing that the big ones are indeed the price when indeed their not. >.<

Linkakami responds:

Man, when I worked at Target (I've worked at them, Toys R Us, and Staples [all redshirts for some reason]) this old woman tried mixing things that weren't part of a sale, and one of my managers yelled at me over not giving her the 23 cents difference.

Great Heavens Scott.

In The Great Destiny Man's own words "My sir, you have successfully captured the audience with my persona. It's you're destiny to draw me!"

Another fabulous animation, I shall keep an eye out for "The Great Destiny Man 3"

side note, why does he look and sound like a better more profound Steven Segal....who by all means has no shoe in closeness to The Great Destiny persona and action fighting. good day sir.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks!
i wondered how long until someone mentioned steven segal. the resemblence is coincidental, and also, steven has pitifully small eyebrows.

Let our virgin ears be broken.

Who ever would think such music could soothe the ears of thy virigins.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

a virgin may rest safe in fernando's company, unless she no longer wants to be a virgin...
